This charming place is situated in the far east of Belgium, just 5 minutes from Maastricht, centrally nestled between the green countryside and the bustling city. Historically, Vroenhoven is known for its strategic position along the Albert Canal, which played a crucial role during World War II. It is the site of the famous Battle of Vroenhoven, where German troops attempted to cross the canal in 1940. The traces of this history are still visible in the region. The surrounding landscapes are perfect for walks, bike rides, and relaxing moments along the Albert Canal.
