City Hotel Plovdiv is set in a residential area near Maritsa River, a 5-minute drive from International Fair Plovdiv and the centre of the city. Use of the gym, private parking and Wi-Fi is for free. All units are designed in modern style and are decorated in brown shades. Soft carpets and wooden furnishings distinguish the interior. LCD-screen TV, air-conditioning, and a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer are available in every room. Some have a balcony. Hotel City provides a choice of massages and wellness treatments in the spa centre at a surcharge. An à-la-carte restaurant, which offers Bulgarian and Turkish specialities, and a lobby bar are also available. Morning press in three languages can be read for free, while in the evenings guests can unwind in the on-site piano bar with live music. Within a 10-minute drive by car or taxi, guests can reach the bus or the train station, as well as the Old Town, where Plovdiv Antique Theatre is located. Plovdiv Airport and Bachkovo Monastery are a 30-minute drive away.
