I’m Tina Marinova, your host and caretaker of this cherished home. Once the working atelier to the renowned Plovdiv artist, Georgi Bozhilov, also known as "Slona" (which means "elephant" in Bulgarian), this house holds a special place in my heart. It’s where I first met my husband, and together we’ve poured our love into restoring its soul, reviving every corner with care and respect for its past. My purpose is to preserve the spirit of this historic home while offering the warmth and ease of modern comfort. I personally welcome every guest and find great joy in creating an experience that feels both authentic and deeply restful — whether you come seeking culture, inspiration, or a quiet escape. You’ll find the house filled with character, gentle light, and thoughtful details that honour its artistic legacy.
