Located just 1 block from Rio's famous Copacabana Beach, this hotel provides breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The rooftop terrace features a pool, sauna and hot tub. WiFi is provided. The 3-star rooms at Oceano Copacabana are bright and spacious. Featuring colourful bedding and paintings, they offer air conditioning, cable TV and a minibar. Some also have a balcony with sea views. Cardeal Arcoverde Subway Station is only 450 metres away, giving easy access to other parts of Rio. Ipanema Beach and the Sugarloaf Mountain are both within 3.5 km. According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorisation for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorisation must be notarised and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarised copies of their IDs.
All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.
In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarised authorisation signed by the absent parent, along with a notarised copy of that parent´s ID.
As of September 01, 2021, guests will have to present proof of vaccination to be able to enter places of collective use in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Please be informed that from 1 June 2025 to 31 October 2025, we will be carrying out modernisation works on the building’s lifts.
During this period, only one lift will be in operation, which may result in longer waiting times.
