This candle-lit guesthouse is hidden behind tropical gardens and flowering trees, and is 200 metres from Pontal Beach. It offers stunning views of Paraty and a pool with sun terrace. The cosy rooms at Pousada Morro do Forte have rustic red-brick interiors and wood-paneled ceilings. All are equipped with air conditioning, a TV and a minibar, and have panoramic city views. Guests at Morro do Forte can charter a sailboat and tour Paraty by sea. They can also relax with a drink in the hotels gardens, and observe the sun setting over Paraty. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. A homemade breakfast with freshly-baked bread rolls, cheese, honey and eggs to order is available. This is served from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m on the hotel varanda, which offers picturesque views of the pier.
