The flat has two large bedrooms and one or both is available depending on the # of rooms required in your booking. It boasts a large, tastefully decorated living room, dining room and kitchen as well as a newly renovated bathroom. Bedroom and bathroom linen are free and are sparkling white. The unit is cleaned and antivirus sanitized between each stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, blender, toaster, Krueger coffee maker (as well as French press) microwave oven, fridge and electric stove with oven . A washer and dryer is in-unit. Summertime: A BBQ is outdoor for your convenience. You get to enjoy the garden and garden furniture as well. Also, bicycles with helmets are available for use at your descretion.
Elcho & her husband Dan own, manage and live downstairs the flat. They are both retired from 40+ years in the financial services sector, love to host, and this is an extension of that.
Sandy Hill is an old neighbourhood within walking distance of downtown, with heritage districts, restaurants, parks and heritage buildings. It is home to students and staff from UOttawa, couples with or without young children, retirees, singles and basically blend of everything and everyone. It's proximity to downtown makes having a car unnecessary: Walk, bus, bike or Uber is the popular mode.
