Privacy and comfort are the two prime offers here. You will stay in a cozy, built for two, cabin, although there is also plenty of room for others to camp. There is even a guest cabin that can be arranged if your guests don't want to sleep bring and sleep in a tent. (The guest cabin is never rented separately). The idea is that we provide everything you would likely need for an easy stay in the woods. You just need to bring your clothing, sun screen, bug spray, and food.
The cabin is located in a spacious, maintained clearing in the Eastern Ontario woods. There are bathroom facilities, an outdoor shower, walled/screened, hard-top gazebo, a beautiful fire-pit, hammocks, games, and 260 acres to explore if you want to venture out.
You can cook your meals on the covered patio over the propane cookstove or you can use the nearby propane bbq. Propane for both is included. If you feel more adventurous, you can cook on the grill over the firepit.
If you would like them, a propane fire-pit can made available, (usable during a fire-ban, propane available for the fire pit for a fee). There is also a propane hot water heater. Just request them.
Choleena is an artist who works from home and Larry works with her. The property is Choleena's family home and they have lived here since the early 70's.
Both Choleena & Larry love the idea of sharing this beautiful piece of land and find renting out their little outdoor getaway, a great way to do that. It is important to both of them that people have a truly relaxing, and peaceful time.

The cabin site and property are located along a gravel road, in a rural area of Eastern Ontario. The neighbours are a couple of kilometers away, although your hosts live about half a kilometer from the cabin site.
The closest town, Perth, Ontario, (voted prettiest town in Ontario), is about a 20 min drive.
There are several different festivals and celebrations that happen in the area.
Several lakes and rivers are also within a short drive and many have public access options.
There is abundant wildlife you would normally find in the forests of Ontario. Mostly of the critter, bird, and insect variety. Merlin has recorded the sound of over 90 different birds!
