Fernando and Donna have welcomed guests to their B&B since June 2002. They love meeting people from around the world and offering advice on where to go, where to eat, what to see and where to shop in the Niagara area. So go ahead and ask us anything.
Fernando is famous for his amazing breakfast creations and home-baked croissants. Guests also enjoy the various artwork and artifacts on display and collected from around the world.
Historic Niagara-on-the-Lake is home to the world-renowned annual Shaw Festival, which features professional live stage performances twice daily (except Mondays) from April to December at three theatres in town. Our historic town was the first capital of Upper Canada (now Ontario) and Niagara was centre stage for the War of 1812. As a result, there are many historic sites to visit: Fort George, Fort Mississauga, Laura Secord Homestead, Mackenzie Printery and Museum--in fact, the whole town is a museum of Victorian architecture complete with an original apothecary. Our town is also among the most active paranormal towns in Canada so you may meet a few on one of the popular ghost tours through town.
We're also surrounded by award-winning vineyards and we're happy to direct you to the best in the Niagara area. Beer lovers will want to try out our local craft brews.
There are also JetBoat tours up the Niagara River, kayaking on the Niagara River, a lavender farm and boutique, cycling trails, golf courses, spas, tennis courts, a Butterfly Conservatory, Botanical Gardens, and, of course, the famous Niagara Falls and Hornblower Cruises just a 30-minute drive away.
