The suite, located on the top floor of our farmhouse, blends vintage charm with modern comfort. Bright and spacious, it features quirky, whimsical art that adds a splash of color. Below, we store essentials for our flower farm.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, full-sized closet, and plenty of natural light—eye masks are provided for those who prefer extra shade. The second bedroom includes a double bed with a twin trundle, plus a drawer stocked with board and card games for guest use.
The living room boasts a cozy seven-seater couch and a 50" flatscreen TV with ChromeCast for streaming your favorite content. A large nook within the living space holds a daybed that pulls out into a queen, complete with blackout curtains for a private, restful sleep. A dining table seats four, with four additional bar stools nearby. Love vinyl? Enjoy our vintage record player and selection of classic records.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a selection of spices, a French press with coffee and tea, a Brita water filter, SodaStream, and a countertop dishwasher. A BBQ is conveniently located outside near the entrance steps.
There are two bathrooms: a spacious main bath with a tub/shower combo and double sinks, and a second with a shower only. The suite also features a north/west-facing balcony.
Our farm is a vibrant, ever-evolving space where you’ll hear and see us (and our dogs) working on various projects. Ducks and geese roam freely, searching for snacks—offer them leftover greens, and they might take them right from your hand!
With easy access to the Inland Island Highway, occasional traffic noise is possible, though evenings and weekends are quieter. The trade-off? Quick access to lakes, beaches, and outdoor adventures.
Being in a rural area, expect some wildlife sightings! Deer, eagles, rabbits, and even the occasional bear or cougar may pass through. If you plan to explore, we recommend learning how to handle wildlife encounters. Rural
Jess and Taylor are the soul of Flower Beds Farm—they're also warmer than cornbread and more "resourceful" than the Encyclopedia Brittanica Collection. If you have the chance to meet them, you’ll see that their love for the farm and the land runs deep. Flower Beds Farm is their life’s work, and also their home. They live, work and play on the sprawling 18 acres of rich farmland with their fur and feather babies: Murph, Doug, Dahlia, Remy, and the ducks.
