Our home was built in 1921 and has a rich history in the Shag Harbour Community. The Post Office once occupied the space between the house and the barn! It's been fully-renovated and landscaped without losing its charm. Our cedar deck, 5-acre conifer forest, and rugged beauty of our oceanfront are available for guests to enjoy.
We are excited to welcome guests to the Route3Bnb! We love this area, and look forward to sharing our renovated century home and oceanfront with guests, as well as our recommendations for sight-seeing, dining, and places of interest. We moved to Shag Harbour in August of 2024 with the dream of opening a Bed & Breakfast. We have five children and three grandchildren.
This charming neighbourhood has a long lobster-fishing legacy. The wharf and lobster fleet are just a quick walk down the road, as is the Chapel Hill Museum & Sea Tower! For extraterrestrial enthusiasts, the famed Shag Harbour UFO Crash site and UFO museum also within walking distance. Local residents are eager to chat and share their experiences.
