In the middle of the historic village Erne you can find the holiday home called z'Gädi (the barn). During 2019 the former barn was renovated. Cozy wood and modern functionality invite you to relax and discover the surrounding areas such as the Binntal Nature Park, Goms Valley and Aletsch Arena. We rent out on a weekly basis, check-in on Saturdays. A well equipped kitchen, wood fired oven and complementary Wi-Fi are only a few of the amenities. The ideal place to stay for 2 adults but also great for families or groups of 4. The living area on the 1st floor not only impresses with the spacious and well-equipped kitchen. The following amenities are available: Wood fired oven & wood supply, Sofa bed for 2 people, 160cm wide, Dining table for 4-6 people, Bose sound system incl. Bluetooth, free Wi-Fi, LCD TV, Dimmable light sources The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge & freezer, oven, dishwasher, induction cooking stove with steam extraction, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, raclette oven, fondue caquelon and a large selection of utensils. Behind the house a locked private shed is available to store any cycles, skis or other sports equipment.

Ernen is an exceptionally beautiful village in the Goms Valley and hometown of my husband Martin. For years, we have been spending our spare time in Ernen. Now that we have converted a second barn, we are happy to offer this property to guests exploring and enjoying the area. During the week we live and work in Brig, which is approx. 20 minutes away. If you need any travel tips for the Goms valley, don't hesitate to reach out.

Groceries, public transport, café / restaurants are in only a few meters walking distance. Only minutes away from the holiday home you can access public transport into different directions by taking the local buses, taking you to Fiesch where you can switch on the train or mountain cable car. If you visit Ernen by car, you'll be able to travel across the region in a very individual manner. We can offer a parking space in a garage for CHF 30.00 per week.
