Only the name reminds us of the military. This historic hotel is one of the most beautiful in Switzerland. Each room is different; all are individually and lovingly furnished with original 1960s furniture and offer an above-average amount of space. The location of the hotel is also unique. Quiet yet central. The old town and all sights such as the monastery and abbey library are just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's own restaurant with a large chestnut garden and a view of the Kreuzbleiche green space spoils you with exclusively homemade, seasonal dishes. The Hotel Militärkantine is a hospitality house and a meeting place for people who value design, enjoyment, sustainability, culture, social responsibility and respect for nature. Everything here is a little different, a little more individual, a little more hospitable and a lot more personal. Zurich Airport can be reached by train in an hour. With the free Mobility Ticket you can be at Lake Constance in 20 minutes.
