Melissothea Stone Suites was a dream of the owner, for over 20 years, to purchase and renovate these two 100+ year old listed traditional Cypriot stone built houses. Recently this dream became a reality, now offering two newly renovated from the ground up, whilst keeping the traditional Cypriot charm.
Located in Mesana Village, just outside Salamiou in the rustic Paphos countryside, Melissothea offers guests a chance to unwind in authentic surroundings. The building, dating pre 1918, now houses two independent stone suites that blend old-world charm—wooden beams, cane ceilings, and stone walls—with modern comforts and thoughtful touches. Both suites come with luxury linens, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a thoughtful selection of breakfast items and local treats to get your day started.
Melissothea Katoi is the more traditional of the houses and sleeps 2 to 4.There is a master bedroom with a wrought iron double bed. There are two bathrooms with showers and an en-suite freestanding bath. Katoi has a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area. double sofa bed, sitting room, flat screen TV with streaming service plus a fireplace.
Melissothea Anoi also sleeps 2 to 4 people and is situated on the first floor. It comprises of a master bedroom with a wrought iron double bed and bathroom with shower and en-suite free-standing bath. In the living room there is a flat screen TV with streaming service, double sofa bed, dining area, wood burner and writing desk.
Luxury bedding and towels are provided in both houses, plus complimentary Wi-Fi and food and drinks for guests to prepare a continental breakfast.
