In this remote area of ​​our homeland, all of you who like to spend your vacation away from tourist-exposed places and attractions, surrounded by pristine nature and silence, will find refuge. From the cottage, which is located on a hill, you have a beautiful view of Vlčí hora, where you can take a hiking trip and from the lookout tower at the top admire the entire region of the Elbe Sandstones and Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland, a territory of canyons, gorges and rock towns. A unique natural phenomenon is the deeply cut canyon of the Elbe River between Děčín and Hřensko, which is best seen in all its majesty from the Elbe Lookout. During your wanderings through the deep forests, you will come across the sandstone rock town of Jetřichovické stěny, romantic castle ruins on the tops of rocks, often accessible only to the physically fit by ladders, or the ruins of the Dolský mill in the valley of the Kamenice River (the setting of fairy tales). I recommend visiting the private, publicly accessible Fritsche arboretum, the Fairy Cave with ice decorations in winter. You can go to the Kyjovské Valley on your own or with a geologist or botanist on a popular educational excursion. Set sail with a guide on a boat - these are Edmund's (Silent) and Divoka gorges. A human-powered boat will take you between rock formations in Hřensko, and the ferryman will introduce us to the living and fossilized inhabitants of the gorges. - through the gorge and on foot, set off along the educational Gabrielina trail, which will take you, among other things, past the famous Pravčická Gate, the largest rock gate in Europe.
