Stráž nad Nežárkou is a small picturesque town with a complete infrastructure - shops, several restaurants, a pastry shop, a post office, a local brewery with outdoor seating, beer sales and refreshments. The area is a popular paradise for cyclists and tourists, the river Nežárka flows not far from the center and there is also a sand pit for swimming nearby. 5 minutes from the accommodation there is a castle that can be visited, where the opera singer Ema Destinnová lived. Jindřichův Hradec, Třeboň and the largest Czech pond Rožmberk are 13 km away. The regional capital of České Budějovice is 30 km away. After agreement with the owner, it is possible to arrange a car pick-up for up to 7 people.
