This time-honoured hotel is situated in one of the oldest half-timber buildings of Ilsenburg, a visitor magnet and cultural centre for more than 1000 years. Altstadthotel Ilsenburg has a Finnish sauna and infrared sauna. Altstadthotel Ilsenburg is a comfortable base for exploring the Harz region and its surprisingly varied landscapes. Among the many local attractions, you will be charmed by the romantic Ilsetal valley and Heinrich Heine hiking route. The rooms in the main building are located between the 1st and 3rd floor, while the rooms in the annex are at ground level. In fine weather, you will be irresistibly drawn to the hotel’s private meadow, barbecue area and lake. The party cellar can be booked by groups.
