Bernsteinsee Hotel&Ferien is situated in the southern Lüneburg Heath, between Wolfsburg and Hanover. Surrounded by nature, the modern 3-star hotel faces the Bernsteinsee lake and a wide sandy beach. The hotel rooms and suites are tastefully decorated and some have a balcony and/or lake or forest views. There are also modern beach bungalows on private property as well as apartments of various sizes. Guests can dine in the bistro or in the cosy restaurant, or even on the lakeside terrace in fine weather. Many leisure and sport facilities can be found right on or by the Bernsteinsee lake. These include a water skiing and wake boarding facility, an indoor go-kart track, archery, cycling, walking and jogging trails, a large adventure playground and beach volleyball. Braunschweig is 45 km from the accommodation, while Wolfsburg is 23 km from the property. The nearest airport is Hannover Airport, 80 km from Bernsteinsee Hotel&Ferien.
