Das Waldhaus is a family-run hotel situated in Forbach, the heart of the Black Forest and 13 km from Baden-Baden. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar and a terrace with river views. Forbach Train Station is just 700 metres from the property. The historical house is quietly located right next to the riverside and is near to local shops, supermarket and restaurants. In the garden with the river and bridge view of the Waldhaus, all the guests can enjoy breakfast buffet, drinks and cake. Newly renovated rooms at the Waldhaus feature a flat-screen TV, individual shower and free WIFI. Some rooms feature a balcony to the river side, where guests can relax on a sun lounger. Das Waldhaus is an ideal base for walkers, motorbikers, cyclists, with many trails nearby including the west trail and the Schwarzenbach Reservoir trail (4 km). Montana-Badezentrum water park is 2 km away and 19 km to Baiersbronn.
