The town welcomes you in summer and autumn, offering all kinds of colors for you to enjoy. The well-signposted hiking paths invite you to relaxed walking tours. In Winter you will find cross-country ski-tracks and groomed trails ready for your use. If the weather is fine you are able to view the breathtaking, snow white winter scenery. About 800 m distance away we are touched by the ridgeway "Erzgebirge-Vogtland". Scenic and also very interesting are the transborder hiking paths "Educational Trail Neugrabenflöße" and the "Glassmaker path Osterzgebirge". A visit to the 16 km distant Seiffen is always worth its time. Dresden 55 km, Freiberg 25 km, Frauenstein 12 km, Neuhausen with castle Purschenstein are 8 km from Clausnitz. In Clausnitz provides shopping facilities like a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher (only a few minutes by foot), a farm shop with extraordinary, local products, a gas station including a car service station as well as a hairdresser and a nail designer.
