Welcome to our Ministerhaus from 1849.
What makes this accommodation so special? In our opinion, it’s the historic charm of this old building with its four-meter-high ceilings. The house is a listed building. Inside, you’ll still find original Biedermeier doors and antique mirrors. The beautiful wooden staircase leading to the upper floor has been coated with a special “beer paint.”
Until 1990, an old noble family lived here, formerly with their household staff.
In 2000, the villa was completely modernized, and in 2019, we renovated and refurnished it.
Good to know:
Shared entrance/hallway
The Ministerhaus consists of two separate apartments. Both units are located in the same house and share only the entrance area/hallway. From there, a separate staircase leads to the upstairs apartment.
The upstairs apartment features three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living and dining room, as well as a large bathroom and a guest toilet.
We are happy to welcome families (children are very welcome), friends, couples, fitters/contractors, and also companies who would like to spend a pleasant time here.
Located next to a nature reserve, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. Ample parking is available.
Close to the A2 and A1 motorways, there are excellent transport links to the western Ruhr region, Münsterland, and Sauerland.
Hello and a warm welcome to our place!
People often describe us as open-minded and friendly folks who are always ready to lend a helping hand. What we love most about being hosts is meeting new people from all over the world and offering them a “home away from home,” whether the stay is long or short. We find it incredibly enriching to experience so many different cultures and stories, and we really enjoy seeing our guests make the most of their vacation.
We also love giving personal tips about the local area to help our guests create special memories.
In our free time, we like to travel (sometimes with our caravan), meet up with friends, and savor good food and great wine.
We look forward to meeting you!
Markus, Svenja, Steffi, and Jörg
