The vacation apartment is located on the ground floor of our semi-detached house. You enter the open living/cooking/dining area of the apartment, which has an adjoining bathroom and bedroom, through its own entrance.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s a variety of Tupperware available for meals on the go. Whether you prefer to spend the evening relaxing on the terrace with a few board games or on the sofa watching a movie or series on Netflix or Amazon Prime, the choice is yours. The sofa can be converted into an additional sleeping space if needed. Bed linens and bedding are provided. Small towels for the face and hands and larger ones for showering are available, Large (bath) towels can be supplied. A set (1 bath towel & 1 regular towel) costs 5 Euros.
A travel crib is available for our youngest guests.
We especially look forward to welcoming many young guests of all ages. In the garden, there’s a sandbox and a trampoline for shared use. There’s also a large playground across the street.
If something is missing or forgotten, we are happy to help, and since we live in the house, it’s very quick. Whether you need a diaper or a high chair, we are well equipped for any situation as we have three little ones of our own.

The community of Salem, with its approximately 11,500 residents and 11 districts, is picturesquely located in the Salem Valley. This area, with its numerous attractions (such as Salem Castle and Heiligenberg Castle) and recreational activities (like Lake Salem and Affenberg), is one of the most beautiful vacation landscapes around Lake Constance. The beautiful Salem Valley landscape invites you to go cycling and hiking.
The apartment is located in the outskirts of Salem-Beuren, below the southern slope of Heiligenberg. A short walk offers a view of Heiligenberg Castle to the north and a full Alpine panorama toward Lake Constance to the south.
The local infrastructure leaves nothing to be desired. You can get your supplies from local bakers, butchers, supermarkets, and various shops, and enjoy meals at restaurants and inns.
Salem is connected to the Bodensee Belt Railway and has regular bus connections to neighboring communities. Meersburg (with a car ferry to Konstanz) is 9 km away, Überlingen is only 13 km away, and the nearest airport, Friedrichshafen, is about 30 km away.
A trip to Switzerland takes about 60 minutes, and to Austria about 45 minutes.
