Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Bergwanderungen auf die Sonntraten, Schwaigeralm oder Rechelkopf. Auch für Fahrradfahrer gibt es viele schöne Touren in der Gegend. Der Bahnhof und die Fachklinik sind zu Fuß in ca. 10 min. erreichbar. Im Sommer gibt es viele Bademöglichkeiten z. B. an der Isar, Sylvensteinsee, Walchensee oder Kirchsee. Für Skifahrer ist das Skigebiet Brauneck in ca. 10 min. mit dem Auto erreichbar. Auch im Sommer ist das Brauneck mit den vielen schönen Wanderwegen und Berghütten ein Highlight in unserer Gegend.
