WELCOME to the pages of the HOLIDAY APARTMENT HYGGELIG.
Here we would like to give you a small insight into our 68 m² holiday flat.
Perhaps you are wondering at this point why we have named our holiday flat "Hyggelig"?
Hyggelig comes from the Danish and means cosy or comfortable. Actually, hyggelig is rather an attitude to life that cannot be described properly. The best way to feel hyggelig is to make yourself comfortable on the sofa in front of the fire with a good book, a warming cup of tea and a cosy blanket, while the snowflakes are falling outside.
If you're lucky, it'll be quite hyggelig!
When we renovated our holiday flat in the middle of 2021, we decided that this feeling should come up in this flat. That's why we placed special emphasis on a modern, yet cosy ambience. The wooden floorboards in the living room and bedrooms were sanded and oiled, and the furnishings were deliberately chosen in a Scandinavian design. Light wood tones and the colour white were to dominate.
We think we have managed quite well and hope you will find some hyggelige moments in our holiday flat.
