The holiday apartment is located in a separate annex in the Grundbichl house only 500 m away from the Königssee. The house is quiet but central. From the apartment with the small terrace you have a wonderful view of the surrounding Berchtesgadener Alps. Directly in front of the house start the hiking trails to the Grünstein and Watzmann, not far away the trails in Göllgebiet, Hagengebirge or Steineres Meer. In less than 10 minutes you can reach the Königssee on foot with the possibility to take a boat trip across the lake. More than 10 restaurants are within walking distance in less than 15 minutes. Also the internationally known ice arena Königssee (bobsleigh and toboggan run) and the Jennerbahn (cable car at 1800 m with wonderful views) are within walking distance. By car or public transport you can reach Berchtesgaden, the mountaineering village Ramsau or the other numerous destinations of the Berchtesgadener Land in a short time. Also the neighbouring towns like Bad Reichenhall or Salzburg, with their numerous cultural offers, can be reached after only 30 minutes by car. In the winter months you can choose between skiing or snowboarding in the Jenner skiing area (10 min. walk)
