Guests enjoy a private entrance, a private sunny terrace, and a private fenced garden — ideal for children to play safely or for unwinding with a coffee or glass of wine in the fresh country air.
Inside, the apartment is bright and practical, equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay — including fresh towels and bed linens. Guests can simply arrive, sleep, and shower without needing to bring anything extra.
Pets are welcome! We kindly ask you to review our simple house rules for pets (sent via message).
We have four friendly outdoor cats that roam freely around the house. They always stay outside and must not be brought inside the apartment. You may see them relaxing in the garden or sunbathing nearby.
Whether you’re a couple, a family with children, or a solo traveler looking to recharge in nature, the space is designed to make you feel at home from the moment you walk in.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Your hosts are a kind and open-hearted family living upstairs with their lively 6-year-old daughter. They take great joy in welcoming guests to their freshly renovated ground-floor apartment, complete with a private entrance, terrace, and a fenced garden — a perfect spot for families, especially those with young children.
One host works as an IT engineer, with an academic background in physics, bringing a thoughtful and curious approach to both technology and life. The other brings a creative and intuitive energy, with a strong connection to art and sensory experiences — together, they create a balanced and welcoming atmosphere where guests can truly feel at ease.
Their daughter loves to play outdoors and is always happy to meet new friends. Children are often invited to join her in the upper garden, where she enjoys spending time with her toys.
Whether you're looking for relaxation, nature, or family-friendly comfort, your hosts are nearby if needed and always respectful of your space and privacy.
Welcome to Wölf, a peaceful and charming village nestled in the municipality of Eiterfeld, in the heart of the Rhön region of Hesse, Germany. Surrounded by rolling hills, meadows, and forests, Wölf offers a serene countryside escape with a strong sense of community and traditional village life.
Despite its small size, Wölf is rich in natural beauty and local character. It's the kind of place where you’ll wake up to birdsong, see locals greeting each other by name, and enjoy the slower pace of rural life. The area is ideal for walking, cycling, and exploring nature, with scenic paths leading through fields and forests just steps from the house.
Just a short drive (about 5 minutes) brings you to Eiterfeld, the nearby town where you’ll find supermarkets, bakeries, cafés, and restaurants. Eiterfeld also features charming half-timbered houses, a historic castle (Schloss Buchenau), and local festivals throughout the year.
Wölf is also a great base for day trips to the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, the baroque town of Fulda, and even Wasserkuppe, the highest peak in the Rhön mountains and a favorite spot for gliding and hiking.
Whether you're here for relaxation, nature, or a taste of authentic German village life, Wölf offers a warm welcome and a quiet retreat in the countryside.
