The weekend house is located together with another building on a large tree-lined plot with a stream between the nature reserve “Vogelfreistätte Ammersee-Südufer” and the reed belt of the Ammersee. The ground-floor building with private terrace has a spacious living/dining area with kitchenette. Adjacent is a separate bedroom and bathroom. Enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding nature and the Alps, unwind in the garden under large trees and enjoy fantastic sunsets overlooking the lake.
The Ammersee is a popular excursion destination for tourists and the people of Munich and Augsburg also make use of the leisure facilities around the lake with lidos, sailing clubs and beer gardens as well as the cycling and hiking trails. The southern part of the Ammersee is a little paradise for birdwatchers. Between Diessen in the west and Aidenried on the eastern shore lies the nature reserve “Vogelfreistätte Ammersee-Südufer”, one of the most important wetlands in Bavaria. Over 300 bird species have been spotted there on the shore, in the reeds and in the meadow areas in recent years. The nearest swimming area is 700m away and the nearest supermarket is about 1km.
