Free parking is easy to find on the street. Bringing pets is allowed on request for an additional fee per pet per night. WiFi (wifi 6 !) is available and suitable for video calls. The accommodation offers step-free access. Two bedrooms are only accessible via stairs. The country house is located near Erkelenz ( 6 KM). Three different rooms are offered. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as another toilet on the ground floor. In addition to high-speed WiFi the equipment includes in one bedroom a SmartTV with streaming services and USB player. There is also a washing machine in the basement for shared use. In addition to the guests, the house is also occupied by the owner, i.e. kitchen and bathroom are offered for shared use with the owner. The owner takes care that the guests have priority. Sleeping room 1 (13 sqm) on the ground floor has 1 single bed and can be extended to 2 sleeping places with a mattress. Sleeping room 2 ( 16 sqm) has 2 single beds. Sleeping room 3 ( 21 sqm) has a double bed (140cm) and 3 single beds. More mattresses and another bedroom can be provided on request.

The accommodation has an excellent location, which is particularly suitable for hiking, also across to Holland. Just outside the border with Holland is the Effelder Waldsee. Here you can water ski, swim, relax and have snacks at the "Amici Beach Club". On the border (approx. 12 km from the accommodation) there is a small shopping centre with a supermarket, boutique, ice cream parlour, fish stall, café and chip shop. Nearby are golf courses (one with floodlights) and the (primeval) forest of NABU. Continue across the border into the National Park "De Meinweg" and on to Roermond, a picturesque town on the Rur and large water area of the Maas. It is well worth a visit (23 km from the accommodation). In Erkelenz there is a very good swimming pool with separate fun area for children and from 1.5. with an outdoor pool. In the direction of Wegberg is the punt pond at the "Tüschenbroicher Mühle". Here the terrace invites you to coffee and cake. Further on to Wegberg (10 km from the accommodation) you will find more mill ponds and restaurants. If you are interested in football, continue to Mönchengladbach to the Borussia Museum or visit a home game in Borussia Park.
