Located directly on the pier, overlooking the scenic Lake Pfaffenteich, this family-run hotel offers free internet access and regional cuisine. It is just a 5-minute drive to Schwerin city centre. The Haus am Pfaffenteich offers simply furnished rooms with cable TV, a radio, minibar and telephone and a view of either the courtyard or Pffafenteich Lake. Some rooms also feature a balcony. A breakfast buffet is served every morning at the Pfaffenteich, which guests can enjoy in the hotel’s breakfast room. The Pfaffenteich offers good connections to Schwerin’s tourist attractions. Schwerin Castle, the Zoo, TV Tower and several theatres are all within a 15-minute drive. The peaceful Schwerin Lake is about one kilometre away. The local ferry service, known as the Petermännchenfähre, reaches Schwerin Central Train Station in 10 minutes. Free parking is also available at the Pfaffenteich Hotel.
