The hexenstieg house is an historic timber framed house. Two apartments are available for booking by people who enjoy the Harz mountains. It is impossible to tell where the huge garden ends and the Harz mountains begin, for not just the people visiting but also the animals which might wander into the garden, like deer, chipmunks or wild boar.
Mark and Michelle are a young couple from the Netherlands who moved to Germany for everything the Harz mountains have to offer. They enjoy the long walks through the forests, the lakes to swim in during the summer, snow during the winter and the lively towns close by. As hosts they would love their guests to experience a slice of life in Lerbach and the wonderful Harz mountains, and if desired are perfectly happy to share a conversation with their guests or point them into direction of whatever they are looking for.
The Hexenstieg house is located at the far end of Lerbach and hiking and mountainbike trails start right in front of the house. The lively towns of Osterode and Clausthal-Zellerfeld can be reached within 10 minutes for plenty of shops and restaurants. It's just a five minute walk to a free open air swimming pool in summer, or a skiing slope in winter. Possibility for outdoor sports and activities are close by.
