Welcome traveller! Arrive and relax in a cosy house with everything you need. Benefit from the tranquillity of a lovely small town while being in reach of the major metropolises of the Rhine-Main-Area. Everything is within reach of this accommodation. Weather a walk to the historic town centre, or by bus and train to Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and Mainz, or by car within a few minutes on the motorway. Hochheim has excellent connections to the entire region. In the house you will find all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. You can cook and bake. There is a refrigerator with freezer, a dish washer and a TV with Blu-ray player and a multilingual DVD/blu-ray collection. Have a seat at the table for work and meals or make yourself comfortable on the couch. On the upper level (maisonette) you will find a comfortable queen size bed, which you reach via a stair. As an alternative you can adapt the sofa on the ground floor to a 2-person bed. For your orientation you will find a guest manual with helpful information in English and travel literature in German.
The historic town centre of Hochheim is only an 8 minute walk away and is known for its charming medieval architecture. Old estates show the long tradition of winegrowing in the area. Around the town you will find famous vines such as Fürst Metternich. Some of the wine-growing estates have international reputation as for example Künstler. They sell their products directly in their local shops. Numerous charming restaurants offer typical local dishes as well as international cuisine. The Hochheimer Markt is an annual fair that dates back to the 15. century. It takes place every year at the beginning of November and offers the exposition of various goods as well as food, games and various fun activities. You can park your car at any time in the street for free (except when it is Hochheimer Markt, every year at the beginning of November). You get to the motorway within a couple of minutes. Hochheim has excellent connections with public transportation. You can go by train or bus directly to the city centre of Frankfurt, Wiesbaden or Mainz. You will find more information about that in my guest manual.
