Set in the Schwarzatal valley and surrounded by the Thuringian Forest, Landessportschule Bad Blankenburg features a sauna and free WiFi. Developed around a regional sporting school founded in 1926, the 3-star-Superior hotel offers rooms with a TV, desk, telephone and a private bathroom with shower and WC. Buffets are prepared for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the spacious Sportrestaurant. In summer, meals and drinks can be enjoyed outside on the terrace next to the small lake. Landessportschule Bad Blankenburg also features 15 hectares with modern sports facilities, 3,500 m² of sports halls and 20 variable seminar rooms.
