Welcome to Atzbüllerbü! Our welcoming guest apartment in the countryside, designed with attention to the details, served for 125 years as a carpentry in the annex of the thatched roof house we live in today. Open the Chat door and enjoy * the spacious living/dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows, fireplace, garden terrace to the south. * the bright upper floor (steep staircase) with magnificent views of the hills of Angeln, for dreaming or even working. Rich amenities, linen set etc. included. The space We have just renovated the house and want you to feel as comfortable as we are in Atzbüll! That's why we've done our best in terms of design and amenities based on our many years of experience as guests. The carpentry is an old building; we designed it sensitively and modern, in rather Scandinavian style - with some creative details. Other things to note The ground floor as a former workshop room has an elevated ceiling. Although there were a guest room, an office etc. already under the roof in the past, the headroom is reduced (but host Gunnar can cope with 1.94 m:-)). Upstairs is wooden floor, on the ground floor there are clinkers - slippers may make it (even) more cozy. The beds in the bedroom can also be separated if wanted. For a baby cot or a guest mattress, the space is easy if necessary.

"I" are more us here: Jana and Gunnar. We live with Smutje, our friendly Irish Terrier, usually next door and are happy to have a chat or advice. Through our jobs in development cooperation, we get around the world a lot, and are happy to incorporate our wonderful experiences with hospitality into our home life. Welcome!

Our village is only one very quiet side street with 20 houses, surrounded by meadows and fields. Our house is located quietly, but not lonely, in the green, with nice neighbors to the right and left, 3 relaxed Demeter cows in the pasture behind the house, as well as many birds, deer, squirrels, rabbits and bees. The view of the colorful garden, the hilly landscape of Angeln and the wide sky is awesome! Hikes and bike tours may be started at the house. Next beaches, good infrastructure for shopping, dining etc. in 4 km distance. Historic towns like Kappeln and Arnis in 20 minutes, Flensburg in 30, Schleswig in 40 minutes by car.
