One of the most famous highlights around Stuttgart is the Solitude Palace above Stuttgart-Weilimdorf. Due to its beauty, the castle is often used as a photo motif and booked for weddings. The castle stands on a hill and offers a beautiful view over Stuttgart and plenty of lawn space to relax and meet friends. In the district of Schwieberdingen are the ruins of Nippenburg Castle, which will certainly be an attraction for history fans. Not far from the Nippenburg is the golf course of the same name, where golf can be played. Stuttgart is around 15 minutes by car from Schwieberdingen, where attractions such as the Porsche Museum and the Mercedes-Benz Museum can be found.
