One of the main attractions is undoubtedly the imposing Reichsburg Cochem, perched high on a hill and offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Immerse yourself in history and culture as you walk through the castle and admire the magnificent rooms and exhibitions. For nature lovers, there are numerous hiking and cycling trails along the Moselle and through the surrounding vineyards. Enjoy the picturesque landscape, discover idyllic villages and stop at wineries to sample the delicious local wines. An absolute highlight is a boat trip on the Moselle. Relax aboard an excursion boat and glide leisurely along the river as you admire the passing vineyards and picturesque villages. It's a wonderful way to experience the Cochem area from a new perspective. If you're interested in history, you should take a detour to the impressive Ebernach Monastery. The monastery dates back to the 12th century and offers a fascinating atmosphere and a magnificent view of the Moselle. And of course, a visit to the charming old town of Cochem is not to be missed.
