What guests particularly like about the area: The Nußbaumpark (Nußbaumanlagen) is just around the corner — perfect for relaxing, going for a walk, or enjoying a small picnic. Sendling itself offers many charming cafés, small restaurants, and markets with a local atmosphere. For example, Café Erika or the Stemmermarkt are very popular. There are also several viewpoints and rooftop terraces nearby that offer wonderful views over Munich. Special highlights right next door: The new rooftop bar Freischwimmer at the Cocoon Hotel (Lindwurmstraße) is a real highlight — with poolside vibes, deckchairs, a relaxed atmosphere, and a fantastic view over Munich’s rooftops all the way to the mountains. Just below the Freischwimmer bar, there is a pinsa bar — ideal for a cozy and delicious evening. More great tips: If you’re in the mood for culture: visit nearby museums, theaters, or cultural events in the Old Town or around Sendlinger Tor. For food lovers: the neighborhood offers many restaurants, from traditional Bavarian cuisine to international flavors.
