About Us –
We are Tatjana and Frank – your hosts on the spacious grounds of the former Rimbachfarm in Steinau an der Straße. With our four tiny houses set amidst nature, we've created a place where you can truly unwind: surrounded by greenery, in charming wooden houses with simple comforts and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces that every guest can enjoy.
What makes us happiest? When our guests feel at home – cooking or grilling with friends and family, relaxing outside, chatting by the fire, or simply taking a deep breath and slowing down. Total silence isn’t part of the experience, though: the property is large, and there's always something being cared for, built, or improved. But thanks to the wide-open space, everyone still finds their favorite spot.
Our small “team” also includes free-ranging chickens and two cuddly cats – they live peacefully on the property with us and usually greet our guests with friendly curiosity.
We ourselves live in Offenbach, where we organize events, but we’re also regularly on-site in Steinau. The grounds are extensive, and we have many plans: in the future, we’d love to host celebrations and weddings in this natural setting. Until then, we’re grateful for every guest who shares this special place with us.
Warmly welcome!
Tatjana & Frank

Stylish Tiny House in Nature – Ideal for Couples & Nature Lovers
Our Tiny House 1 is nestled between woods and meadows on the edge of Marborn (Steinau an der Straße), just about 500 m from the Kinzig reservoir. This charming wooden house is stylishly furnished, well equipped, and perfect for a getaway for two – optionally with a small child. Here you’ll find peace, nature, and modern comfort in a compact space.
The 30 m² tiny house was lovingly renovated in 2023, combining modern design with the cozy look of wood. It features a living/sleeping area with a comfortable 1.80 m wide double bed and a small sofa bed suitable for a child up to about 4 years old. Large windows open up views into the surrounding nature – a perfect way to wake up immersed in the landscape. A compact bathroom with shower and infrared ceiling heating ensures cozy warmth, even in winter.
A highlight is the spacious, partly covered terrace with daybed, dining area, and gas grill – ideal for relaxed hours outdoors. Right in front of the house is a private lawn for play and lounging – perfect for children or four-legged friends. Dogs are welcome (extra fee, max. two per stay).
The four tiny houses are located on a 14,000 m² natural property, spaced 30–40 m apart. An old playground with swing and more is available for shared use (at your own risk). Two e-bikes can be rented for a fee.
Wi-Fi is available inside the house, on the terrace, and across the property. During the colder months, some outdoor furniture is stored away – however, the daybed, table, bench, and grill remain usable. The grounds are illuminated with solar lights – bringing a flashlight is helpful if arriving after dark.
Our cozy-modern tiny houses offer a nature-oriented retreat with simple yet lovingly curated vintage-style comfort – perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
