Take a walk around the cozy streets of Kerteminde and visit the Johannes Larsen Museum. Funen is beautiful - and offers a wealth of opportunities! OSB: The farmhouse dates from 1765 and is heated with a heat pump and wood-burning stove. Therefore, on cold and windy days, especially in winter, it can be a challenge to keep the rooms completely warm, where it can often feel chilly. Meet Maria & Jørn We are Maria and Jørn, and we live in Frederiksberg with our four children and dog. Maria works with art, and Jørn is a chiropractor. In 2018, we bought Strandhavegård to give our family a refuge in nature—a place with peace, freedom, and high skies. We have carefully renovated the farm together with friends and family, and when we are here, we enjoy trips to the beach, bonfires in the garden, and pizzas from our homemade oven. We also love exploring the beautiful landscape of Funen – especially Fyns Hoved, which is one of our favorite places. Strandhavegård is still full of life and projects, but first and foremost, it is a place where we hope you will feel at home.
