In the garden you will also find a lovely annex where you can practice the day's yoga session or finish the last work of the week. From the cottage you can walk a few hundred metres down to the water's edge and enjoy the sunset and the beautiful view over Roskilde Fjord and Crown Princess Mary's Bros. You can also take a trip to the old trading town of Roskilde, which offers plenty of cultural experiences, dining options and a cosy marina. Meet Søren My name is Søren, and I took over Fjordly in December 2021. In a busy day, I really enjoy being able to drive to the cottage and just relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house has been thoroughly renovated by the previous owners, so all I have to do is put the coffee on and throw myself into the hammock or sofa, depending on the weather. Fjordly is for me the ultimate sanctuary for me and my son, and where there is space for friends and family to come and visit unannounced. The house is located down by Roskilde Fjord, and there are always plenty of activities both on land and at sea. I also particularly like Marbæk Strand, which is a cosy little oasis where locals meet to swim, barbecue and play beach volleyball, and I can recommend dinner at Gerlev Kro, which has a great atmosphere and traditional Danish dishes on the menu.
