In addition to the main house, an annex has been added with two lovely rooms. The cottage is decorated in light colors and classic furniture, with occasional glimpses of quirky cottage decor consisting of colorful cups and wall pictures. Outdoors, you can gather on the terrace to soak up the sun and relax, or you can gather around the fire pit. Here you can warm up on colder days, and you can also try your hand at making snow bread over the fire, which is sure to be a hit with young and old alike. Meet Mette My name is Mette, and I'm the owner of this cozy holiday home on Helgenæs. In 2022, an annex was added to provide more space for overnight guests. When my family and I are at the cottage, we love the peace and quiet and the sound of birdsong, and not least the time with each other. We often enjoy bonfires and barbecues on the terrace, where we have a fantastic view out towards Samsø. The beach is just a short walk away, and you get there via cozy cottage roads and a shortcut over a cliff with beautiful wildflowers. For a slightly longer trip, there are plenty of options, both at Sletterhage Lighthouse, which is the starting point for a number of incredibly beautiful, historic hiking routes - and at Mols Bjerge, which is a 10-minute drive away. In Kongsgårde is the local grocery store with good, fresh produce. Fish is available from the fishmonger at Dragsmuren, where the queue can be long, so arrive in good time.
