Welcome to Posthuset 377 (the old post office building in Borre).
For rent are 3 individual rooms, one flight up. The Gold room has a double bed and a single bed (13 sq.m. total). The silver room has 2 single beds and the most floor space (16 sq. m.). The bronze room is for the single traveler (10 sq. m.).
You will have private access to your room, to a shared bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, and to a functional kitchen with a fridge and a small cooker. Downstairs, across from the pleasant entrance hallway, you will find the bright, functional kitchen with appliances for making simple meals.
In the yard, you have free parking, and opportunity to sit in chairs and at tables, which you may bring out and back in.
Upstairs, the gold and silver rooms have wonderful morning light (but with curtains if needed). The bronze room has a view to classic Danish architecture, including the church, and the evening sun.
Near the rooms, there is a shared bathroom with a shower.
Outside, there is private parking for cars and bicycles. In the hallway, you can find chairs and café tables to put out to have your meals outside.
It will be my great pleasure to welcome you to stay in "Posthuset 377". I opened my rooms for rental recently (June 2025), and by next year I intend to open the rest of the house up with an art and photography gallery.
You will be staying in the old Borre Post Office, a solid, red-brick building from 1940.
It has a super convenient location, next to the supermarket (the only shop anywhere near!), across from the café (the only one anywhere near!), and by the bus stop. Yet here, you are only a few minutes from the best nature in Denmark, including Møns Klint, sand beaches, and large woodlands.
The shop is 25 meters away. Open from 8 am, here you can get snacks, drinks, and various necessities - or even rent a bike. Café Borre, across the road, is the heart of town. It is cozy, atmospheric, and has a small menu. The bus stop is even closer (going W), going E is just down the street.
Many come to Møn for the nature, some of Denmark's highest cliffs, largest woods, and best hiking trails. Others come for the history, going back thousands of years, visible in the landscape, right up to today, where Møn has a thriving cultural life.
