Relax on the large terraces, enjoy delicious food and catch a sunset You can try your hand at kayaking, windsurfing or paddleboarding on the fjord, which the Beach House is located right next to. On the large lawn in front of the house, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and fun for both young and old. Find yourself in one of the countless cozy corners around both houses, where you can enjoy nature and perhaps be lucky enough to spot the deer that the area is known for. End your days on the large terraces and watch the sun set over the water. If the weather is not conducive to sitting outside, you can still enjoy the view through the large panoramic windows of the cottages. Both cottages are brightly decorated with large living rooms and kitchens, so you can gather and enjoy cooking or a good quiz. Meet Hans We are Pia and Hans, and we own the two holiday homes. The Beach House is located directly on the Isefjord, and the Forest House is immediately behind it. On a daily basis, Pia works with consulting and investments, while Hans is an author, lecturer and lawyer. With a busy daily life, we enjoy gathering our large family in our two holiday homes. Here we have plenty of opportunity to be together as a family, but at the same time, we or our adult children can withdraw when desired. We love the peace and quiet, the silence, the sunsets and not least the water, where we take a morning dip every day. We love kayaking on the Isefjord around the small islands and into Vellerup Vig and Hammer Bakke Harbor. The water is also ideal for paddleboarding and windsurfing. There are also fantastic walks and bike rides throughout Hornsherred, where there are also many ancient monuments. We also love exploring the area's cafés, flea markets and visiting the island of Orø.
