Welcome to Finca San Mateo. Our small farm in San Gabriel del baba just before the first predecessors of the Andes mountains where you will find yourself in the great outdoors and only a stone's throw from the center of Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas. We rent out the house and all facilities exclusively to you and your group so that you can fill in your holydays in your own way. The total plot is more than 10 metric hectares and the majority is planted with cocoa, platano, fruit trees, etc, the sides of the plot are not cultivated to give space to nature so there are quite a lot of different animals, birds and plants to see. There are also rivers and brooks running through the estate, especially the 2nd river with its beautiful beach like landscape is certainly worth a visit. The village of San Gabriel del Baba is 3 km away, in the village there is a nice mix of small local shops where you can find most simple things.

We are constantly working to improve the experience, we are currently working on new bird enclosures and a patio with canopy so that you can also sit on the terrace behind the house. The swimming pool at the rear is planned to be completed by the end of September at the latest.

San Gabriel del Baba is best known for its river and streams, but sports such as walking, running and cycling have also become very popular in recent years due to the newly built road to the town. If you do not have your own bicycle with you, there are a large number of companies along this road where you can rent a bicycle.
