Ribeira is a small fishing town where you can walk everywhere. It has many bars and restaurants and a promenade along the beach right in front of the flat. There are many Blue Flag beaches nearby, such as Vilar and Corrubedo Dunes and you can light a barbecue in parks near the beach. Every Saturday there is a market with local food stalls, plants and clothing in the port. The flat doesn't have a terrace but by simply crossing the street you are on a beach and the views from the flat of the sun rising over the sea are spectacular.
