    Apartment was clean and well appointed. Aircon was an absolute life saver. It was close to Murcia old town which was great as it is a pretty part of the city. Very spacious too

Neighbourhood information

San Andrés is a neighborhood of the city of Murcia (Region of Murcia, Spain) located to the west of it. Together with the neighborhoods of San Antón, San Basilio and El Ranero, they constitute the Northern District of the capital. It was part of the old suburb of Islamic origin of medieval Murcia, called Arrixaca. After the conquest of Murcia, with the gradual depopulation of the Morería, the primitive parish of San Andrés was erected on an old mosque, having the first data on it in 1293, being the origin of the neighborhood of the same name. San Andrés contains among its streets a long history of artisans, convents and brotherhoods. Its population is one of the oldest in the municipality of Murcia according to the INE. Its number of inhabitants is 2 197 (INE 2019).
