Ca l’Emília is a haven of peace at the foot of the Montserrat mountain, in a charming house from 1863. We have just completely renovated it.
It can accommodate up to 6 people, with two double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the dining room. It has air conditioning, quality Wi-Fi connection and a smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for comfortable and pleasant stays.
Access is autonomous, without the need for direct contact.
Just 200 meters from the train station and with all the essential services on the same street, you will not need to use the car to get there or to enjoy the Montserrat mountain.
Welcome to Ca l’Emília!
We are very happy to be able to share with you this special space at the foot of the Montserrat mountain. We love receiving travelers from all over the world: each guest brings a story, a new energy and the opportunity to make you feel at home, even if it is far from it.
What we like most about welcoming travelers is seeing how they discover the little treasures of our surroundings: the quiet silence of the evening, the magic of Montserrat at dawn, or an afternoon walk through the village. We are passionate about nature, hiking and simple life, and we love sharing recommendations for routes, tasting local products or simply disconnecting.
We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy preparing it for you.
Have a good trip and see you very soon!
— The Ca l’Emília team
One of the things that our visitors like the most is the authentic charm of the neighborhood and the proximity to the mountain of Montserrat. Monistrol is a small town, but with a lot of character: cozy, quiet and surrounded by nature.
🗻 Montserrat, the main protagonist
The star attraction is, without a doubt, the Monastery of Montserrat, accessible by the rack railway that leaves from the town itself. It is a unique experience: the mountain is impressive, and the visit to the monastery and the Moreneta (the black virgin) leaves an impression on everyone.
🥾 Routes and nature
Nature lovers will find incredible routes to do on foot or by bike. From easy trails to do with the family to more demanding paths for experienced hikers. The Camí dels Degotalls or the climb to Sant Jeroni, the highest point of Montserrat, are highly recommended.
🍷 Local gastronomy
Around the town and on the main street there are restaurants where you can taste authentic Catalan cuisine
🚆 Connections and comfort
Monistrol has very good connections to Barcelona (about 50 minutes by train), and many guests take the opportunity to make day trips combining the city and the mountains
