Can Sanllehí is a large family house, very well preserved, with all the charm and decoration of the time (s.XIX) but renovated with all modern comforts. The first floor has been enabled as tourist accommodation. It consists of three lodgings: two private apartments with kitchen and fully equipped and, the third accommodation is a private suite, also fully equipped, but WITHOUT KITCHEN. Also, the three private accommodations have common areas to enjoy. These are: the hall, a fantastic period room, a dining room for 8 people, a large terrace with outdoor furniture and a beautiful garden with our centenary palm tree. The charming tourist accommodation of Can Sanllehí is located in an old noble house included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia, built in the 18th century on Late Medieval remains (14th-15th centuries) where the first synagogue was installed in medieval times, in full historical center of the county town of Castelló d'Empúries.
I am an Empordà, I was born in Figueres but I have lived in Castelló d'Empúries for many years, where the origins of my maternal family are found. I have a daughter and a son. My profession is that of a primary school teacher.
The house is located in the center of town, in a very quiet neighborhood. 50 m away from Can Sanllehí there is a public and free parking. Nearby you can find shops, bars and restaurants that offer a great gastronomic variety of our beloved Empordà. There is a wide range of visits and cultural routes, such as the Basilica of Santa Maria, the Ecomuseum-Farinera, the Medieval History Museum of the Curia-Prison, etc. It is very well connected to access or move by public transport. About 4 km, within the same municipality, is Empuriabrava with navigable channels and a large beach, which can be accessed by public transport, available approximately every hour during the day. You can also find other wilder beaches, such as the Rubina and Can Comes. It is near the Natural Park of the Aiguamolls del Empordà. Around the village we find the Dalí Theater-Museum in Figueres, the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, Cadaqués, Roses ... In addition, a great diversity of sports activities such as hiking, cycling, mountain biking, sailing, parachuting ...
