Casa MiraMar is your home from home by the sea! Our lovingly restored and renovated 3 bedroom house has been designed to provide a relaxing environment to rest and rejuvenate by the beautiful beaches on the costa tropical. It is advertised as a 2 bedroom house but it may be possible to use the 3rd bedroom as well if required. Please ask if of interest. The house offers 2 terraces with stunning mountain and sea views and is just an 8 minute walk to the beach of la Guardia where chiringuitos and kayaking are available. Salobrena is a lovely white washed village with lots of little plazas and fabulous restaurants with views of the bay and pretty streets. The castle sits high on the rock and is just above the house, from the top terrace you can see the twinkling lights of this majestic building at night and it can be reached in a few minutes via the beautiful 'calle de flores', street of flowers. It is just 45 minutes to Granada where you can see the Alhambra and walk the old streets of the Albacin; 15 minutes from the buzzing town Almunecar where stunning beaches and nightlife can be found along with a waterpark and just an hour from Malaga and Malaga airport. Fresh food, sunny days, secret coves and long beaches; surf schools, live flamenco and much more awaits, right on the doorstep of your beach house bolthole here on the costa tropical!

Hola! I'm originally from the UK but have lived in Spain for 6 years now and before that was based in Peru. I run an equine rescue project here in Granada and a children charity in Peru. Having travelled extensively and stayed in numerous holiday homes, hotels and glamp-sites, I have learnt what is important and helps you, as a guest, feel welcomed. Clean, crisp sheets, comfortable furniture and thoughtful touches...cold water in the fridge, a bottle of local wine, a fruit bowel, biscuits and tea....a welcome guide with personal recommendations and a communicative, supportive host! I love sharing my knowledge of the area, helping guests book fabulous restaurants and enjoy their time in our space. We are not a 'business' but a family lending you our beach house with the hope you can make as many amazing memories there as we have.

Salobrena is a beautiful village right by the beach with mountains in the background and lively cities in every direction that make wonderful day trips. You can snorkel in the morning in the meds clear waters and in the winter, ski in the afternoon! It is a very typical Spanish area and makes a perfect base for a Spanish holiday.
