The lodgement is an old town house dating from 1795 located in the upper neighborhood of L'Ametlla hamlet. Facing South, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Montsec mountain range and the Noguera Pallaresa river crossing it and the Camarasa dam. The house keeps its original structure and has been restored to make it comfortable. It has four floors, and includes a cellar and a room inside the rock. The bathroom is in the lower floor. The first floor has the kitchen-dining room and a small balcony. The original stairs are irregular and steep. The original walls are not straight and the floors are not levelled, but they are originally thick keeping a good isolation from the heat in summer and cold in winter.

The house belongs to the family. It has been restored for tourist use and offer to the clients the opportunity to live in a original rural environment. The restoration has been carried out by the owner giving it a personal and rural touch.

It is located in the upper part of the village, facing southeast. There are no shops in L'Ametlla, and you can find some in Ager (10 min by car), Tremp (25 min), or Balaguer (35 min). To get to the house, go through the town square where the church is and follow the narrow but paved road until you reach the neighborhood above, the Tossal and take the first path on the left. The water is drinkable. La Font Grossa, about ten minutes walk. For recycling, the bins are in the church square. There is a municipal swimming pool in the village with bar service. Open all summer. The usual neighbors of the town, are dedicated to the primary sector. The most well-known tourist attractions: Flight to Montsec d'Ares. Companies established in Àger Fishing in the Camarasa and Canelles reservoirs Hiking in the Mont-rebei Gorge, 20 km to La Pertusa car park Kayaking in Noguera Ribagorça and Pallaresa river.
