This beautiful house is located in the northern part of Fuerteventura, in the municipality of La Oliva. It has a population of around 20,000 inhabitants and its neighbouring municipality is Puerto del Rosario to the south, with the rest bordering the Atlantic Ocean.
Strolling through its streets, you will notice that the architecture that predominates in the municipality is different to that found in the rest of the island. An example of this can be found in Las Casas de Manrique de Lara or La Casa del Inglés, which reflect the period of the greatest economic boom that the municipality experienced during the 18th and 19th centuries.
But it is undoubtedly famous thanks to La Montaña de Tindaya, which contains great archaeological value. Of particular note are the Tinojay settlement and La Cueva-Habitación del Llano, where Guanche remains such as pottery and mollusc shells have been found. There are also burial caves such as La Cueva de Esquinzo and La Cueva de Guriame.
It is also famous for the Parque Natural las Dunas de Corralejo, made up of a large field of dunes and badlands, as well as Montaña Roja. The Islote de Lobos, once home to monk seals. Nowadays there are none left,
