The Hotel Rural L’Antic Portal is a charming, small family-run hotel located in Vilafamés, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Nestled in the historic center, the hotel offers a peaceful, authentic atmosphere, ideal for discovering the cultural, artistic, and natural treasures of the region. Guests can enjoy a range of nearby activities such as hiking, wine tasting, visiting local art galleries, and exploring the old town’s narrow cobbled streets. All individually decorated rooms at L’Antic Portal feature tiled floors and rustic furnishings. Each room includes a private bathroom with free toiletries and hairdryer. A delicious Mediterranean breakfast is served each morning in the dining area (available at an additional cost). Shops, bars, and local restaurants can be found just a short walk from the hotel. Vilafamés is home to several points of interest such as the Contemporary Art Museum (MACVAC), the medieval castle, and breathtaking viewpoints over the surrounding landscape. The Desert de les Palmes Natural Park is only 15 minutes away by car, and the Costa del Azahar beaches can be reached in around 30 minutes.
